This is an invitation to join a women's spiritual/personal growth group that will focus on developing positive, life-enhancing tools for mind, body, and spirit. If you are a woman who wants to connect more deeply with yourself and others, who recognizes that she is continually in the process of becoming who she authentically is, who wants to learn how to take pro-active steps in her life to create the life she desires, who is willing to grow beyond old constrictions, and who wants to both encourage and be encouraged by others who share the same goals, then this is the group for you!

Topics such as healthy emotional living, embracing our dreams, new life at mid-life will be chosen by the group for each four month segment. This group is open to women of all spiritual paths and traditions.

"COMING ALIVE" RETREATS FOR WOMEN

OCT. 15-17, 2010: "FORGIVENESS: SEEING WITH NEW EYES"
The hurts of life come in many different sizes, shapes, and forms. Whatever the cause, EACH of us is challenged to forgive at some point, to finally let go of resentments, blame, guilt, and recriminations so that we can heal and experience inner peace and freedom. Health at all levels-spiritual, physical, and emotional-is enhanced when we forgive. For most of us, however, this journey of forgiveness is not an easy one. Although all the major religious traditions clearly extol the value of forgiveness, little practical help is provided. Without tools and practices that allow us to align with the Spirit, to "see with new eyes," we often keep recycling the same beliefs, feelings, and behaviors that keep us stuck This retreat is an opportunity to explore where the healing is needed within us and to learn and practice concrete tools to move us forward in our lives whether we need to forgive others, ourselves, or the Sacred The journey of forgiveness is ultimately the most SELF-CARING process in which we engage because the one who is released from suffering is myself!

TIMES: Oct. 15-17, 2010; begins at 7:30 P.M. on Friday and ends mid-day on Sunday
COST: $140 workshop fee, $120 room and board (includes private room and 4 meals starting with breakfast on Sat.)
PLACE: The IHM Spiritual Renewal Center; Cresco, PA ( a retreat center in the Poconos approx. 35 miles outside of Scranton)
